Your humble narrator made it to the local news! It's funny how everyone else always looks normal on camera except yourself. I could go on and on about how weird and silly I looked but it's probably just my perception of myself is not really what I really look and act like. Anyways, they will do a follow up story once the babies are born, after all they are the stars of the show. I did nothing to make them three, that was all their own doing. Some ego they have, I guess they thought one of them was not enough for this world so they made three!

I just got back from an ultrasound/fetal monitoring/doctor's appt and everything is still looking good. One of the boys might be over 5 pounds! My blood pressure was a tad bit high so they are rechecking me for preeclempsia. Also in the last blog post I mentioned I had itchy ankles, well it's gotten worse and I itch all over so they are checking me for cholestasis. I'm not too worried about either but the itching has got to stop! If it turns out I have it I can get some medication to help me along since the hydrocortizone didn't do much. I'll try benadryl tonight and see if that helps.
Only 4 more days to 34 weeks, after that I can relax and let my chico's come when they want to. By then they won't need a shot of steroids since their lungs should be fully developed. Also babies born after 34 weeks have the same statistical outcomes as full term babies.

You looked normal! Well, you looked PREGNANT. But you looked great, as usual! So excited you're almost at 34 weeks!
Thank you for emailing me back...I am honored to be photographing your amazing little guys when they arrive.

Very cool! Thank you, Janét, for letting me share the video with my Human Development class for the multiple births unit :) I still think the 3D ultrasounds are funky.
You look beautiful. The part where Phil was talking to the babies is just precious.
You are absolutely glowing and I really started to tear up seeing you on TV. I was like hey I know them! so happy for you and congratulations 1000 more times.

A Nancy
You and Phil and babies look great! and now famous. Congratulations again!!!!!!!
Hey Guys! Way to Go! I did happen to catch the last part of your interview! It was great! I'd love to catch up with you! You are doing so great!
Awesome Janet! My little nephews are already famous! Cute..cant wait to see them on the news again when they are born for the follow up.. :)sweet!
Janet, must be like hearing your own voice on a message..."do I really sound like that?" Anyway, you didn't look or sound weird to any of us, and I was impressed that you can still sit in a chair with your WAY expanded lap! You have almost made it to the silver, way to go. I hope that these babies arrive soon and end your itchy-body! I had a dream last night that you went to the hospital and took Javan with you (so he could call anyone if they came) and then I made it for the natural delivery. All three boys were born easily and quickly and naturally one after the other... I got a clue that it was a weird dream when they came out fully dressed in cute little outfits complete with hats! Oh well...
Just stumbled on your story while Googling about something else, just wanted to say GOOD LUCK with your upcoming delivery, you've done a great job getting this far!
I'm the father of 1.5yr old identical triplet boys in Utah. I remember my wife developed cholestasis in the last week leading up to her delivery (35 weeks), they were able to partially control the itching with a drug called Nubain but it got pretty itchy between injections.
Also I read most of your posts so far including "Setting the record straight" and wanted to give you one more real life experience regarding breastfeeding.. my wife was able to provide our boys 100% breast milk (via pumping) for the entire first year! It was one of the hardest things she's ever done (maybe mine too LOL) but it was very worth it and I'm so proud of her.
Once again, good luck!
Also here's my wife's blog address in case you're interested:

Hi Cody,
thanks for the advice, the doctor put JP on a prescription, I hope it works because I spend a lot of time scratching her ankles. I have looked through most of your blog in the past, I would like to get in contact with you to get some more triplet advice sometime.

That is so awesome! I was watching a show and the 11 o'clock news did a preview of what was to come and I saw you!!! Wooho! Maybe some generous soul will donate $ to the diaper registry. ;) Maybe I will run into you again, I have another u/s on Friday in the AM. Thoughts and prayers for you and yours. Oh how exciting!

Congratulations! You are doing a great job taking care of your little ones - every day counts! Three boys are a lot of fun!!!!
Congratulations on making this far! You are in the home stretch now. You are doing a wonderful job growing those boys. 34 weeks was my goal and it looks like you made it.
If the hydrocortizone isn't helping then it sure sounds like cholestasis, the good news is that the itching will stop after delivery.
Funny thing, I too had a dream about you having the triplets naturaly. You must really be in mine and Sara's thoughts. In my dream you had them so fast they couldn't do a ceasar, I think you were in the operating room.
I thought you looked a bit nervous on the news but looking cute as cute. And loved Phil kissing them!!
I'm so happy to hear that you and the boys are doing great! I also saw the pictures that Aracely posted and they look so perfect, beautiful and very handsome boys. I love them and want to hug them already and kiss them a lot.
Love you guys!
Your cousin Mary
Congratulations on the birth of the babies!!!
Phil,
Any time! My email is (my first name)@(my first name and last name together).com. Last name is Sims. Sorry for the obfuscation, just weary of spam.

I commented above about doing photos for the boys. I was on the channel 6 news in August displaying some newborn work and I can't agree more! I looked SO awkward on TV, and I swayed back and forth while talking?! *hangs head*
oh well, its over now!
